Q. I want
the warmest coat possible. What should I choose?
A. Choose a winter
coat, because it covers most of the body and the neck. I use several weights of fleece, so that I can offer coats for
many climates and in a wide variety of colors. Be sure and let me know what you need and we can find just the right weight
fabrics.
Q. Do
you have pictures of the colors available?
A. Many of our fleece fabric
colors are shown at the bottom of the Products page, and some of the coat colors are identified in the pictures of dogs on
the Photos page. However, it's hard to know if you are seeing the colors the way they are in real life. If you have any
questions, I am happy to try to describe them and will send little samples too if you wish.
Q. What credit cards do you accept?
A. I can accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Q. How do I give you my credit card number?
A.
Since my site is not secure, I don't recommend sending credit card information over the Internet. I would be happy to call
you or you may call me with the info.
Q. Do you have a winter coat without the long turtleneck?
A.
Yes! If your dog doesn't care for an attached turtleneck, you could consider a coat similar in style to the fleece coat, but
made with an outer layer of the wind and waterproof fabric and an inner layer of fleece. It typically covers less of the rear
end too. Another idea is to make the coat with two layers of fleece. That makes a fairly warm coat, again without the back
length and turtleneck of the winter coat.
Q. I need something special....
A. You've found it! Our coats are sized for greyhounds
and specifically for your dog -- not small, medium, large or one-size-fits-most. This ensures a better fit and a great
look. Additionally, male coats are cut to accommodate leg lifting so you don't have to deal with wet coats after each
walk. If your dog wears a harness rather than a collar and leash just let us know where the harness hook is and we can
make any coat to fit it. Reflective tape is available - tell us if you would like it added to your coat.
We have lots and lots of colors available to make a coat especially for you.
Q. What is your guarantee policy?
A. I want you to be happy with your new coats and to get the best fitting coats possible. That means you play
a big part in getting the measurements right! Please understand if I ask you to verify measurements. But once
that is done, if you are unhappy with a coat I will either make a new coat for you or refund your money.
Q.
Do you donate to greyhound rescue?
A. Yes! I donate a lot.
If your group is planning an event and needs a donation for raffles, auctions, etc., please send me a letter (e-mail is fine)
with all the information and I will do my best to make it happen.
Q. Do you make coats for non-greys?
A.
Whippets, yes, and large-chested dogs that can wear a greyhound shaped coat. Unfortunately, I can't get into many
other breeds because of limited time.
